Keeping Children Safe in Education

ITS strictly adheres to specific recruitment and vetting checks on all candidates who wish to work with children and young people.

Child Protection is at the core of our recruitment policies and that of the schools we represent.

The ITS rigorous candidate vetting procedure is aligned with Safeguarding Level 3 and Safer Recruitment, and meets the requirement of our individual global clients.

ITS confirms the following checks are completed before any candidate is employed by a client school:
  • Proof of Identity, Qualification and Teaching Licence verification
  • Employment History Check
  • Disqualification and Disqualification by Association declaration (where applicable)
  • Professional Teaching Reference checks, at least two including one from most recent employer
  • Up to date, valid enhanced police checks such as the DBS / ICPC plus one from every country where the candidate has been employed or lived
